Eagle Telephone Wall Plate Almond Modular RJ11 4-Conductor 6P4C Flush Mount Phone Jack Gold Plated Contacts Jack 1 Socket UL RJ-11 Face Plate Audio Signal Data Line Cord Plug
Flush mount, twin outlet modular jack and plate. Fits all standard modular phones. Permits connection of two phone or phone / answering machine combination. Installs in standard electrical box, to replace existing flush mount jack or add new jack.
Instructions:
- Disconnect one phone in house by removing handset from hook before working with exposed phone wire.
- Remove existing wall plate and jack.
- Clean cut line cord from wall box.
- Remove 1-1/2" of insulation from colored wire leads.
Single line Wiring:
- To tie in answering machine or additional phone on same line, transfer wire leads by color to top jack terminals.
- Attach wire leads from line cord by color to top jack terminals.
Dual Line Wiring:
- To connect two separate phone lines, connect each incoming line cord to a separate terminal block. Attach wire leads by color to terminal screws.
- Install jack and plate into wall box with screws provided.
- Replace handset on disconnected phone.
